NOTICE TO MARINERS
FOR THE YEAR 2013
AIR CORPS FIRING EXERCISES AND
AIR DEFENCE ARTILLERY FIRING EXERCISES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Air Corps Exercises/Air Defence Artillery Firing Exercises will be held as detailed hereunder: -
EAST COAST - BEN HEAD (DANGER AREA D 1)
Throughout the period 1 JANUARY, 2013 to 31 DECEMBER, 2013 Air Corps and Air Defence Artillery Firing Exercises will be carried out in the area of BEN HEAD.
The Danger Area comprises an area contained within the following co-ordinates:
- a circle having a radius of 3NM centred on GORMANSTON AERODROME (53º38'41" N; 06º13'43" W);
- the smaller segment of a circle of radius 10NM centered on GORMANSTON AERODROME (53º38'41" N; 06º13'43" W) and extending seawards with radial boundaries on the true bearings 015º and 106º.

NOTE: Marine notices will issue from the Maritime Safety Directorate within four to six weeks prior to a shoot taking place. Warning Notices will also appear in national and local newspapers and periodically on the monthly magazine "Afloat" website, approximately one week prior to the shoot.
Mariners are particularly requested to notify the Maritime Safety Directorate, Department of Transport, Leeson Lane, Dublin 2, immediately if they discover any new dangers to navigation or changes and defects in aids to navigation.

Is é an líomatáiste dainséir ná an líomatáiste laistigh de na comhordanáidí a leanas:
- ciorcal a bhfuil ga 3NM aige, arb é AERDHRÓM BHAILE MHIC GORMÁIN a lár (53° 38' 41" ó Thuaidh; 06° 13' 43" Siar)
- an teascán is lú de chiorcal a bhfuil ga 10NM arb é AERDHRÓM BHAILE MHIC GORMÁIN a lár (53° 38' 41" ó Thuaidh; 06° 13' 43" Siar) ag sínea dh i dtreo na mara le teorainneacha raidiúla ar an treo-uillinn fhíor 015° agus 106°.
